Montana shifted his weight forward and sprang up. He shook the snow and ice from his coat and walked back to Cocoa.
Licorice trotted up and down the fence line, bucking with energy. He crow-hopped as a dog ran behind him.

Montana saw Roxy and pricked his ears. He didn't move toward her though, but merely stood still and continued to crop at the green wonders below him.
Licorice threw up his head at the sudden movement and shied away.

Montana nosed through the white coldness. He pawed at it, sending it flying. Shying slightly, he stepped away from it. He rolled once more in it, letting the snow cover his belly.

Roxy giggled at what they did. She decided she could use montana to plow and get rid of all the dang snow along with coco. The two largest horses could get the job done easier than the rest. She haltered Coco first, knowing she didn't get as fidgety when Montana was taken away from her. She groomed her till her coat shone, then hitched her up to the plow. She haltered Montana, then groomed him as well and hitched him up next to her.

Montana snorted softly at the traces at first, but then nuzzled Cocoa and set to work. He leaned into the traces and pulled with all of his weight.

Coco strained at first, but soon it wasnt as hard. When someone was helping, it wasn't as hard. Roxy guided them as they had begun to push the snow out of the pathway and driveway.

A slight sweat began to break out on Montana's neck and body. He strained on uphills and felt the cart run into his ankles on the down hills. He pulled as hard as he could to keep a steady tempo.

OOC: Awwww...that sucks.
Montana yawned and ambled besides her. He closed his eyes and stretched his muscles as he was finally let into the pasture. He watched his friend walk away and he went to go lay down in the thick grass.
