BLACK ATTIC INCORPORATED. Hayden gave a short laugh and then leaned against the ground, her bright blue eyes staring into the pale blue sky. She glanced over to see her two horses grazing in peace, a sight that made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. That was a feeling she rarely felt nowadays. She felt much different aroud Jake, it was strange and she didn't have an explanation. So, I'm entering Mariah's Storm in a race next week, I can't wait to see how she runs!

"Who are you thinking of breeding her too?"He asked.

BLACK ATTIC INCORPORATED. She stretched out her arms before they also collapsed onto the groud. Once she's old enough, I want to breed her to Sudden Fame. She said, daydreaming about how great their foal could turn out to be since both horses were making headlines and breaking records like there was no tommorow.

A tiny, two horse trailer bumped along the gravel road up the gorgeous stables. When it finally stopped, a pretty 19 year old girl stepped out of the truck, and looked around. She was boarding Capi here, and Hayden had told her to meet her here later. She looked around and leaned against the trailer, she could definitely wait. Hayden was doing so much for her, she seriously owed her.
Capi snorted, and smelled familiar horses. Where was she? She didn't kick out at the trailors, Mallory had taught her better than that.

BLACK ATTIC INCORPORATED. Hayden got up and motioned for Jake to wait for a minute while she got her new stablehand and student familiar with the stable. Hello Malory, welcome to Black Attic! She beamed, whiping her mud covered hands on her shorts, not really caring she was staining them.

He waited patiently for Hayden. And looked toward the case that had the necklace in it.He shook his head and then started to pet the horses.

Mallory grinned from ear to ear, looking around the place. It was gorgeous. Big, spacey, and up-to-date definetely. she looked at Hayden, who obviously just went swimming. She smiled, then looked at where she had come from. She squinted her eyes and saw a boy. A cute boy. Hayden had good taste! Mallory turned back to Hayden, and said, I'm so glad to be here. Thanks so much for...everything. She pulled her tee-shirt down, and put her hands in her pockets. She looked towards her trailor, a dumpy two horse...thing, and suddenly felt embarressed. Was she in the right place? She shook those thoughts from her mind. she was sure she would earn enough money, then be able to get some new clothes, and maybe even another horse. She loved Capi dearly, but she couldn't help but remember those days on her old farm with her 13 horses. It was a lot of work, yes, but it was worth it. She looked at Hayden, then said brightly, What would you like me to do first? Mallory couldn't help but sneak another look at that boy. He looked familiar for some reason. She raked her brain for information on why that stranger would look so familiar, but she got nothing. She ached for a boyfriend, ever since her huge breakup. Long story short, he had been going out with four other girls, and been sleeping with them all. Malloy walked in on him, and, welll, that was that. Mallory turned her attention back to Hayden and smiled, awaiting her answers. She flicked her swirling brown hair into a quick pony tail, letting her bangs fall out and cover her left eye.

BLACK ATTIC INCORPORATED. Hayden took a big piece of her shirt and tried her best to ring the most water she could out of it. Luckily, it was the summer and that meant she wouldn't have to worry about bringing her jacket with her. The stable was a while away but she motioned for Mallory to follow her until they reached the pastures, full of curious Thoroughbred fillies and colts pricking their ears at the strange sight of a new horse, and a human. Hayden whistled at a bay colt, busily grazing on the fresh grass. He cantered over to the fence, happily nickering towards his owner who walked over to him, stroking the star on his forehead. Hey Fame, try not to get yourself into trouble. Okay? She softly said before walked onward, passing the many pastures that lead to a large race track, used mainly for training and work-outs it sometimes held races, but rarely did Hayden allow the public inside her large stable. There were many barns, but four were visible from the road that passed the stable. Two were mainly used for the racing stock, and another for the broodmares as well as studs. The other two were used for either Hayden's personal riding horses, or the horses of boarder's were housed there. Hayden checked the stalls before picking a large, clean one. You can keep your horse here, and if you want to turn her out into the pasture, she's more than welcome to go with the mares or the fillies. The horses usually get fed twice a day, our racehorses are fed a special feed for performance reasons but the horses that board here have a choice of feeds. It really depends on your preference. She leaned against the stall door, this girl seemed like she could really learn a lot. She looked her over, she looked to be easily the weight of a jockey and she had the ideal height, perhaps only a half of an inch taller than Hayden. You know, you look like you'd make a great jockey.

Mallory watched Hayden walk away, then followed her. Her eyes followed her every move, determined on making a good impression. They finally reached a pasture with gorgeous fillies and colts. Mallory was awe-struck. Never before had she seen such fit, amazing horses. Just as soon as she had been graced with their prescense was Hayden moving on. She increased her lengthly strides so that she could keep up with Hayden. They passed a huge, amazing race track that Mallory had to stop. she was completely dazed. Everything here was so...nice. Mallory felt stupid in her torn jeans, converses, and tank top. Mallory walked along up to a huge, spacious stall. This was...Capi's stall? Thank you, so much. She listened attentively to her turn-out directions. Capucine is almost four, so she can go with either. Really, whatever you would prefer. She hasn't done a lot of work in almost a month, so high-performance feed would be unnessacary, but anything would be fine by me. Once again, thanks so much. I know I sound like a broken record, but I really can't thank you enough Mallory couldn't help but breaking out into a grin. As she leaned against a stall door, she felt Hayden's gaze trail up and down her. she felt self concious, and shifted from foot to foot. Then, the next words out of her mouth stunned her completely. SHE could be a jockey? Sure, Mallory had ridden show horses, but never multi-million dollar racehorses. ME? ME? Your joking! Mallory was completely thrown off. She must be kidding. Mallory, sure was skinny, but she was also tall. Plus, she liked to eat. She had always been under 110, just because she was naturally thin and lean, but she wasn't strong enough to control two tons of racing horse flesh as they battled for the lead down a racetrack. Even so, the thought of it made her tingle inside. If she was a jockey, she would certainly raise enough money. If you're serious... Mallory started, but then her heart caught in her throat. What if she was just kidding and Mallory made an idiot of herself. No. She must go on. I would need....help. I don't know the first thing about racing.

BLACK ATTIC INCORPORATED. She watched Malory's expression as they passed the many sights, she felt glad helping her out. It was strange, Hayden was never his kind to a girl she had met only hours earlier. No, I'm serious. All you need is run a few laps, just to build up a bit of muscle and I think you'd do a good job. I only have one jockey at the moment, I had nine in the past but they all, well they quit. She said, shying away from that subject as she didn't feel like talking about that. I have some fillies I could train you on, if you're willing to take the risk I'd like you'd be a fine edition to BAI. Hayden checked the time on her Blackberry, which had a zebra skin on it. It was just after five, she figured she'd show Malory where she would be staying and than she'd walk back down to Jake, it seemed like he had something important to say to her. The only thing you need to know about racing is that if you're afraid of breaking a few bones, it ain't for you. The number one rule, is to go out on the track and kick butt. Hayden blinked, before looking back up at Malory. Alright, movin' on... She said and motioned for Malory to tie her filly to the grooming post, one of the stablehands would take her out to the pasture. She walked past Hayden's home, an inviting two story place with plenty of room of the girl to manage her stable from. They came to a cute, and cozy guest house. She reached into her soggy pocket and pulled out a keychain with three silver keys. Here are your keys, they should all work but I haven't tested them yet, so you might have to see if they work first.

Mallory smiled and nodded excitedly. I'd love that. If it's not too much trouble, of course. I mean, you are doing so much for me and Capi anyways. Capi whinnied at the sound of her name, and whilst Mallory tied her to the post, she nuzzled her back, and snorted loudly. She was liking this place, as well. Mallory smiled, then followed Hayden out of the barn. As they approached the guest house, Mallory couldn't help but suck in a huge gasp. It was beautiful, cozy, and perfect!!! Close enough to the barn, and still in the perfect location. She loved it immediatly. She looked at Hayden as she handed her the keys, and laughed at her remark. Of course, I'm sure they are great. She took the keys, then safetly tucked them away into her pocket, which also held her phone, and car keys. So is there anything you'd like me to do? Or should I unpack? Mallory questioned. She raised one of her eyebrows, a slightly questioning look. She couldn't help but glance back at the barn, just to make sure Capi was alright. The filly was shy, but Mallory was sure she was going to do just fine in this barn. They obviously treated their horses amazingly. She closed her eyes and let it all in. It was just so...homely here. Hayden would hopefully be a great friend to rely on soon enough, and hopefully she would be a jockey, and have a few more horses. If this all went right, she could have an amazing llife come of out this.

BLACK ATTIC INCORPORATED. Hayden smiled, Don't worry about it, I don't have much to do anyways. Next week we'll begin your training and I'll see about geeting your filly some proper training as well. I know a lot of amazing trainers that are wonderfuly talented with horses. She said, You can un-pack and make yourself feel at home if you'd like. I'm going to head back to the lake and bring back the horses I rode down there, if you need anything give me a call from the phone inside. My number should be on a piece of notebook paper on the desk, near the window. Hayden ran a finger through her nearly dried hair, she loved that whenever she wet her hair it always managed to dry itself back to its original, straight style. She smiled and walked over to the lake, she wanted to tell Jake her feelings, but her pride was keeping her from it. Hayden finally reached the lake and sat back down, putting her feet in the water.

Mallory nodded. She jogged back to her car, which she opened the door to and drove around to behind the guest house. She made sure to keep on the road and not drive over anthing. She got out and dragged her suitcase into the guest house. She had only few clothes, and realized she had to get nicer stuff to fit in here. Mallory emptied her suitcase and looked over her things. Three pairs of jeans, ten shirts, underwear, socks, five jodpors, seven tanks. She hung up all of her clothes neatly in her closet, then went back to her car to retrieve her horse things. A trunk, a saddle, a helmit, paddock boots, half chaps, full chaps, full boots. She dragged her saddle and trunk to the barn and put them neatly in the border's tack room. She opened her trunk to make sure everything was still there. she had to go shopping anyways later, if Capi needed anything she might as well get it as well. She had a grooming box with brushes, leg wraps, horse treats, two bridles, two halters, a lounge line, fly spray, detangliny spray, show sheen, two blankets, and a saddle pad, among other misc. things. She needed wormers, and shampoo. Mallory stretched, her muscles tired from dragging everything into her room, and to the barn. she pulled her saddle up and began rubbing it down with an old rag she found in her trunk. Soon, the old leather began to shine again. Mallory stood back and admired her handy work. she grabbed her girth and saddle pad from her trunk and put saddle, pad, and girth up on a rack. She then sighed, locked her trunk, and her saddle to the rack, and left the barn. She jogged back up to the house, then changed into P.J's. she could go shopping later. Now, she was totally burned. Mallory collapsed on the bed. She told herself she would only close her eyes for a second....then....sleep....

Jake smiled at her."Maybe that was just a myth of a waterfall having good luck it hasn't seemed to do my any good since I drank it.I want to have a chance with Hayden. But soo far no luck."He thought and then lied his head on the grass.
