Godric couldn't help but smile at her remark, his tattoos were a big part of who he was and in a way they told a story about him. They ended up sitting on the porch, soaking up the night and feeling the country air in their lungs felt better than anything else in the world. "You have no idea." He said with a playful smile.

She chuckled, then looked away. "Godric, I have been noticing you've been acting different since that night, are you alright?" She asked him. She couldn't help but ask, cause the he had been acting, it started to worry her a bit.

He glanced at her, looking at the stars at the same time. "That depends on your definition of normal." He said, with a clever smirk on his face. However, he knew what she said about his odd change in behavior was true. Even though he was a hard person to understand at times, she knew him long enough to tell when he was acting odd.

"Well not human normal, just vampire normal, like your not starting at a human every five seconds." She said plafully to him, then looked at the stars again.

It was interesting how closely she'd been observing him, he really never thought he was that interesting to humans. Then agian, he was just as interested in her and she was with him. "I must be pretty interesting, then." He said, a smile forming on his lips.

Sara smiled, then looked at him again seeing that familiar charming smile on his face. She knew that seeing a smile on his face was kinda rare, but ever since when Sara came to town they came up more and more. She stared right into his eyes.

Smiles always felt so odd, almost as if he just wasn't meant to smile. He could leave that to others, sometimes he preferred to show little emotion and sit around, ignoring the rest of the world for a little while longer. Than again, once you've been around for two thousand years there's not much ignoring that can be done.

"It must be hard, living for two thousand years. With no one to care for, like the loving type, boy meets girl, boy gets girl stuff. I don't think I would be able to last that long." She said softly, then stood up from the steps, she then looked towards Godric, "How will able to last this long?" She asked him.

Godric blinked, and looked at her as she got up and spoke to him. By now, he was used to life and thinking how much he hated living sometimes. Then again, he was not actually alive only he was in a sense dead. "When you have seen the things I have seen, you learn to survive." He said, giving a faint smile.

She simply smirked, a cool breeze blew. It was defiantly refreshing, especially in this time of year, "But, don't you wish you had a mate, as you would call it?" She asked him.

She seemed to want to dig a little deeper, to figure out what really lied deep within him. Not that he had a problem with that, it's just his past was a curious thing and sometimes he didn't even know what to think about it. He looked at her, blinking as he thought of what'd he'd say to a question like that. "Yeah, I suppose so."

She didn't know what to make of his reply, he could be confusing at sometimes with just a simple answer as that. "Well, what kept you from it? I highly doubt Eric did." She asked wondering.

He looked at her, he knew she was slightly confused. But then again, he was a confusing kind of person who sometimes answered with simple replies. He felt a cool breeze blow across the porch, there was no denying that it felt good to escape the heat for once. Godric sighed, sometimes coming up with the right thing to say took too much of his energy. "Eric didn't, and besides I think you know I wouldn't ever listen to him."

Sara almost snickered at his remark. "I highly doubt that. It seems you two talk as if the conversation will never end." She teased. Then sat back down next to him.

He should have seen that snicker coming, but she was a complex person and sometimes the things she did made no sense to him. He enjoyed breathing in the fresh air. Sometimes, breathing was a way of reminding him that once upon a time he too was a human. But those days have long passed, they seemed to drag on forever. "I see you've been paying attention, huh?"
