Kirk shrugged, perhaps today they would actually make it through the day without being attacked or stumbling across hostile aliens. However, that was always boring and Kirk was not a fan of boredom. Meanwhile, Spock sighed as he also noticed how slowly things were going today. Perhaps he'd have to settle for smiling at Chloe, who seemed to be noticing.

It was a week later, and it was lunch time and one of the workers to talking to Chloe "You know Chloe, if I ever land in the water your always welcomed to save me." He said, "You know Jones, I just might let you drown." She said to him. The group looked at him and laughed at him. Then something caught Chloe's eyes, Kirk and Laura were looking at eachother. A few minutes later Chloe left the table, then after a few minutes later Kirk, something told Chloe they were up to something.
She followed Kirk, and then stoped as she heard her sisters voice "You love to keep me waiting don't you?" Laura asked Kirk.

Kirk noticed Chloe could tell that her sister had sparked an interest in him. He smirked at Chloe, as she saw Laura leave the table. He soon followed a few minutes later. Kirk had a pleased smirk on his face. "Of course." He teased, wondering if Chloe knew that he could tell she had followed the two of them. That only made things funnier for him.

Laura smiled, and lowered her head to the ground as a piece of her dark blonde hair fell infront of her face. Laura had intrest in Kirk, they became really good friends and eventually that friendship lead to a flame, Laura looked into his blue eyes that seemed to draw her in without a complication.
Chloe couldn't belive what she was hearing, her sister had fell for the captain 'You've got to be kidding me.' She thought to herself.

He was pretty sure Chloe was going to shoot him more angry looks, not like that wasn't amusing or anything. He had to admit, Laura was a mystery he'd like to figure out. She was falling for the classic Kirk charm, a charm that seemed to never fail him. He knew Chloe was probably going to try and talk some sense into Laura, but that he'd have to see to believe.

Larua started to move her head closer to the captain's, Chloe then sneezed. Then ran away, to avoid being caught, by both the captain and her sister.
A few weeks later, the Enterprise got a distress message from a planet. So Chloe and a few others were selected to respond. But Chloe's jets wasn't checked properly and when she when she got a flyby by an enemie jet she lost control over it and crashed, taking the life of her partner. After that something seemed to change in her, but they didn't know what. Chloe heard footsteps then turned around and saw Spock "Commander." She greeted.

He shrugged at the sneeze, he didn't care if he was being watched, he found it amusing. It seemed to the crew that Chloe had managed to cheat death when her jet crashed. She had a handful of injuries, but it was nothing McCoy couldn't handful. Having him on board was an added plus. Spock figured he'd go see what Chloe was up to. "So I hear that you took quiet a fall the other day." He said, referring to the crash.

Chloe sighed deeply as he brought up the crash, "More then a bad spill, it took the life of my partner, who was also my best friend." She said to him. It seemed that the wild, rebellious side of her was afraid to come out, after the accident Chloe was different.

He heard they tried to save her friend, but the injuiries and blood loss was too great of a battle for her to fight. McCoy didn't say a word for days, although everyone tried their best to tell him it wasn't his fault they couldn't save her. "I'm terribly sorry, I'm afraid I know how you feel." He sighed, remembering the destruction of his planet.

Chloe looked at him, then gently put her hand on the side of his face. Spock was so different from the others, especially captain Kirk. Then out of nowhere she rested her head against Spock's chest, her feelings for him were growing and right she needed someone.

He knew he was probably the only one who really knew Chloe's pain. But there was no reason to reflect on the dark events of the past, when he knew he still had Earth which was just as much of a home as Vulcan was. She suddenly laid her head on his chest, but he didn't seem to mind one bit.

Chloe looked up and then looked into Spock's brown eyes, her head started to move closer to his. She stoped then looked at him, then felt her lips collide with his, it seemed as if the world came to a halt, and all the noise of voices seem to disappear when she felt the warmth of his lips against hers.

What happened next he didn't see coming, as she moved her head even closer. He was surprised by her kiss, but he accepted it. He was smiling on the inside, he sort of hoped she'd feel the same way about him as he felt about her. Not like he was outgoing enough to admit it, it was a feeling he'd had kept deep inside of him for too long.

After a few moments, she pulled away then gently placed her heag against his. And in perfect timing to, a worker from the captain's bridge came, "Commander Spock, your needed." He said then walked away.

"I suppose I have to go." He said softly, he really didn't want to but he really didn't have the choice. Spock smiled at Chloe, frowning as soon as he started to follow the worker. He hoped he could spend more time with her, but with his job he was always in demand and seemed to never have much time for anything really.
