I saw the happiness in her eyes As I took her in It had been a mistake Another mistake by me...
Her true colors began to shine I could see right through her As I felt my heart sink...
Why have you done this to me? Why have you left me shivering In the cold darkness Of your shadow
I let a sigh escape me As you leave and let the sun Shine upon me
I feel a sudden loneliness As you part and there is no one But the trees
I trudge on Until I find my true place Until I find my true love...
A stag of many hues slowly walked into the lands. His nape, pillars, visage and some of his barrel were a light brown. It looked as if some one had laid a white blanket across his back and rump. There were a few ebony spots upon his hide. He was an odd hue but it made him unique. He tossed his dark brown locks and flicked his banner a few times. He didn’t hold his dial high in pride; it was quite low in fact. He looked like he had just suffered a great deal of heartache. His blue optics glanced around a few times then he halted. Where was he? There was a lake, and no other equines around. There were signs of them though. There were hoof prints in the earth and there were places where they had lain and you could see their imprints.
Indiana snorted and raised his dial a bit higher. He took a better look at his surroundings and sighed. This must be where equines came to find their true love or just some one to love. He didn’t feel like finding some one to love. His heart still hurt from what had happened and he didn’t want it to repeat. He wouldn’t let it repeat though. He knew who to avoid and who to hang around with now. He would probably make more mistakes but each time he would learn the lesson and be more careful the next time. Indiana sighed a bit happier now. He was glad at the new way he had found to look at things at the moment. He couldn’t give up on love, and plus, it was going to find him in the end.
Indiana opened his maw and emitted a long whinny for some one to come. It had a hint of loneliness in it. Indiana whinnied once more then stood there; and waited.

A beautifull arab vixen was grazing under the shade of a Juniper tree. She had a chesnut coat,a black muzzle,a white strip, and beauftifull brown orbs. She was a beautifull vixen some say she was made by angles. The mare looked at the stallion. She did a small huff toward him.And then lowered her dish to graze again. She then ficked her tail at the flys.

Indiana glanced over at the vixen with his blue optics. He snorted once but didn’t move any further then he stood from the vixen. He took in her appearance, everything about her. She was another Arabian. He had nothing against them but there were so many of them in this world it didn’t make them that special. They were known for their beauty and elegance. If every one kept saying that they were of course going to get full of themselves. Indiana hoped this vixen wasn’t like that. He perked his auds toward her for a moment then slowly dropped his dial to graze.
After a few minutes passed he got bored and walked over to the femme. “Hello, M’name’s Indiana.” Indian told the femme. “What is your title?” He asked. The stallion stood his distance from the vixen just in case she got on his nerves he wouldn’t do something stupid like charging at her. He didn’t want to let his emotions run loose once more. He didn’t want to cry in front of every one anymore. He had all of his emotions under control at the moment and hoped to keep it that way.

Broken Sand watched but kept in the shadows not wanting to show herself to soon she'd let them finish talking and walk out slowly. She sighed who was she kiddin'? she trotted out thick musceled legs moving her across the ground heavily and she snorted it was nice being a Quarter Horse when you are told someone could beat you in a race no matter what and let you set up the rules you set it to a short race and bang your done way ahead of them but when it came to anything else it got annoying generally they were some boring color like chestnut or bay or black but she didn't have to mumble about that. Her coat was grulla a rare color for every breed. She didn't let it go to her head tho so what she was a mix of a bunch of colors with a black mane whoop-a-de-do-da sure she was happy and proud but didn't go strutting about like some stupid arabian

Indiana held his tongue, another Arabian. Wonderful. He just adored Arabians. He loved to be around them 24/7. Them and their snooty attitudes. There were too many of them as well. Every where he looked there was at least one Arabian standing there and making it’s self beautiful. None were really rare any more, not since there were hundreds of them inhabiting these lands. Indiana snorted in disgust. He at least didn’t like the pure, stuck up ones. Just because of their bloodline they acted like they were flawless and perfect. The truth was that no equine was perfect, it was physically impossible. Every equine had at least one scar upon their hide. They could say they were perfect but he would never believe them.
He nodded his dial politely. “Nice to meet you Clover.” He finally managed to say. He felt like he was chocking as he said it. He told himself that he shouldn’t think of her like this. He could be completely wrong about her. She could be different. Or, or she could be like his cold hearted friend who had left him in a snap. She could be hiding underneath that nice, sweet outer layer and have the blackest heart on the inside. He was going to find out in a moment as soon as the lyrics left his kissers. “Now tell me, what alliance are you loyal to?” Indiana asked. “I am loyal to the neutrals.” He finished.
The figure of the other femme caught his eye. He turned to face her and was a bit awe struck by the hue of her pelt. The smoky brown color of it, her ebony pillars and it was a bit hard to tell but it seemed as if her mug was tainted with ebony as well. She had a different sort of beauty then the Arabian femme who stood near. His curiosity was taking over him, he needed to know this femmes title.
“Hello there, what be your calling?” Indiana asked and glanced back at Clover for an instant then turned his attention once more upon the beauties of the new femme.

Clover whickered softly as she shook her dish and then just ignored the new mare."I be neutral sir."She said softly and then backed up he started to talk to the new mare. She was always ignored by stallions when another mare came by.
