God Bless The Broken Road...
Optics fixed on a broken road, lonely willows standing in perfect file, the bronc took note to the leaves that had fallen from the long willow's branches. Funny, this environment mocked the rest of the empire. It had such a desert feel to it, and this felt as if the desert had left any oasis here. But, with every oasis come the death and sorrow. Which made no sense to the equine that was passing by. Rumors had floated in his mind that odd creatures, which balanced on only 2 stilts were somewhere near. Camping out in shelters, and the smoke from their fires often filled their lungs when they took in a breath. His Black Painted wrapping covered the equine nicely, he had no need to be jealous of the others around him. Focusing on the creatures said to resort here, he noticed the path he was on. Paved nicely, some task no equine could do by himself. It had been broken some places, like a heart loved and loved again, broken more each time it tried to love. A sad story indeed, but one needs to move on and try to carry their crania high with the wind.
This is nice, I wonder why many equines fear this place so...
'e pondered as he stood near a water stream, flowing rapidly telling him not to put his dagger in, as it would take him with it.He snorted and looked about, wishing another equine would be here to keep him company while he waited for a different path to come by. The wind today, had a rather angry push to it. Storms rolled by in the past few weeks, lightning causing many fires in the land. Most of the creatures had been driven out, yet some still remained to tend to their farmlands out here, and making sure a wild equine like Tango, never really caring much for the creatures. They would never fix the rope on his crane, or so he had made himself think.Tango was always a colt to live his life to the fullest, when danger arose he would consider fleeing, his conscience denied it,but he always looked at his problem, often a hungry wolf wanting some dinner. Many called him stupid, they said he would never make it as a herd leader that way, but it may just land him where he needs to be. His banner flying behind him, he loved to run around, run as fast as he would. Part Thoroughbred, he had the speed in him, with the stock build of a Quarter Horse he had the legs and body to make him seem any stronger.
May I inquire, any other presence here besides my own?
He was optimistic, and so he is going to wait.
That Led Me Straight To You.
