Lorrinda was riding a pinto horse on the beach. She sighed sadly as she halted the horse she had been looking for a horse to buy.But none felt like Phantom,a wild paint stallion that she used to own.She loved him every much but she turned him loose and she was happy cause that is where he belonged, wild and free. Not with a bridle,or a bit in his mouth, not with a saddle on his back,or with having to do what he is ordered to do.He needed to be wild and free, where he could run around all day long where no one or anything could touch him.She was happy for Phantom, but sad cause she lost a friend. She then got back into the real world. She then cantered the horse all seemed well until the horse spooked, and then she fell off hitting her head hard on the sandy floor. The horse galloped off leaving Lorrinda in the sand, and out cold.

It was a beautiful day out. I had decided to go for an early run before It got too hot out. I stretched out my neck, glad to feel the send under my hooves, \ as I galloped along the shoreline. I closed my eyes, in complete bliss. Wild, free, and in l o v e with life. I pricked my ears forward at a sound ahead. I skidded to a stop brining my hindquarters under me and sliding to a neat stop . On the ground twenty feet in front of me lay a two-legged. She wasn't moving. I froze in fear. Mother had told me never to approach the two leggeds. They were evil and would kill you without even thinking. I backed up slowly, ears pricked forward, creating an obtuse angle, and eyes focused in on the human. I couldn't relax for a second. she would take advantage of the moment and kill me. I threw up my head, a slight whinny escaping me. Fear clouded my senses, and I became one of those insane horses. I backed up ten feet in under a second, bolting backwards. When i realized the girl wasn't moving, I realxed slightly, and moved a few steps closer. What was wrong with it?

She lied silently on the sandy ground until she heard the whinny from the stallion. She looked up to the stallion and then gasped in fear and then started to crawl backwards keeping her eyes on the stallion.

My body shook as the girl backed up. I smelt a great amount of
fear in the air. Was she afraid of me? She was...excellent. I
could use this to my ability. I tried to act cool and confident. I
strived to remember my brothers teachings. I backed up two
steps, then bolted forward a step and the momentum lifted the
front half of my bodice in a breathtaking rear. I balenced on my
back two legs, and let my forelegs dangle in midair. I released a
loud whinny, but instead of the forecful, terrifying sound that my
brother emits, it sounded a bit more like a question. Instead of
sounding threatening, I sounded scared. My eyes rolled once
more, and I landed. I reared once more, this time thrashing my
forelegs around, hoping to seem more threatening towards this
twolegged. I was only 10 feet away from her. I could see her
every feature. She could see mine. could she sense my fear?

She thought the wild stallion was going to attack her she then covered her face with her arms.It was so long when he saw a wild horse this close to her,it was with Phantom, but this handsome stallion came toward her,but what could it mean? Was it a god telling she that she would be loved again by another stallion from wild?Or was it a dream?

Eclipse saw the vulnerable move, and knew he was in control.
He liked this feeling. Alright, think with your head, he thought to
himself. What is the best thing to do at a time like this? Run?
Probably. When the girl hid her face, he turned on a dime and
bolted from her sight. He leaped over a log, exiting the beach.
He stopped, and turned around, watching her from in between
branches. She looked terrified. He smelled it. Awesome! The
last time Eclipse had been in control, the boss was well...never.
He was always at the lower end. He wasn't a very good fighter,
he was just very smart and tough. Part Hanoverian, and part
trakehner, two of the most prestigous breeds in the world. He
was proud of his heritage and wore it on his sleeves. Eclipse
shook his mighty head and let out a loud snort. He pawed at the
leaves, causing twenty or so leaves to fly into the air, causing
mini tornado. He wondered if the girl would approach him. More
importantly, what would he do if the girl DID approach him?

She then slowly rose up from the sun, tears filled her eyes. All of a sudden she bolted into the forest running away from the stallion as fast as she could, hoping that the stallion wasn't following her.

Sol saw the quick movement and fled sideways, himself. His
massive body, however, and the slick leaves didn't match. His
feet slid out from under him, and he slipped. His huge body
thudded on the forest floor. Pain shot through his shoulder, as
he had hit it on a rock. He whinnied in pain. Sol had never been
seriously hurt before, and had NEVER asked another for help.
That made you vulnerable. He pushed up with his good foreleg,
then stood up, not placing too much weight on his hurt foot. This
girl intrigued him, however, so he limped along after her. He
broke into a light canter, leading with his good foreleg, to avoid
post stress on his ligaments. He quickly caught up to her, then
trotted behind her, but far enough behind so that she wouldn't
notice he was stalking her. Where was she going? Where did
she come from? What was she doing?

She then halted hearing the pain of a horse. She then turned around seeing the stallion limping. She then said softly toward him."Easy boy.I am not going to hurt you.I am going to have a look."She said taking out a sugar cube for him.She then started to slowly approch him.

Uh oh. Approaching. This isn't good. Eclipse balked, then shot backwards, throwing up his head, ignoring the sharp pain fly through his left foreleg. He was resisting her help because he was scared and hurt, and he thought she would further hurt him. He didn't turn around though. He just backed up with every step that she took towards him. THe sugar didn't entice him however. He ignored the sweet scent, and continued to move away from her. His eyes rolled back in his head, fear erupting from him. He whinnied loudly, then reared up, warning her not to get any closer. The hair along the nape of his neck bristled, a sign of clear distress. Suddenly, a rustling in the forest snapped his attention towards that. He had one ear pointed at lorrinda and the other at the sound. He smelled another horse...but who? A flash of paint colored flesh brushed through the trees. The horse from before. He whinnied to the horse. Was she safe? He asked him. Should he let her help him?

She stoped and then said softly toward him."I'm not afarid."She said softly. And the horse kept backing up.She started to whistle an old tune that her mom used to do after she would hurt herself. It soothed her,and hoped it would sooth the stallion.

That whistle...it triggered something...but what? memories
flooded his mind. But they were all blurred, and
uncomprehendable...what was it? Why did that make him want
to run? Before he knew what was happened, Eclipse was
galloping. Where? He was not sure. He was just galloping.
That whiste...why did it make him go crazy? He wasn't sure. He
galloped faster and faster, until he ran into the paint horse which
the girl had fallen off of. He screamed at the horse to move, and
snapped at his neck, then galloped past him, ears flattened. He
had to get away from the whistle. It made him feel sick inside,
and he didn't know why. The memories were too strong. After
about five minutes of solid galloping, the whistling was drowned
out by the sound of the waves smacking against the beach. He
could still see the girl, because there were no trees, but simply
beach. He saw her about two miles down. His eyes were much
better than hers, since he was a horse. He doubted she could
see him. He lowered his head with relief. He sniffed at the sand,
then rested his left hind hock, relieved to be all over with that.
The paint horse's scent was strong...did he like Lorrinda? Why?
How could that horse like humans? Can they be nice? He wasn't
about to stick around to see why. Instead, he raked his brain for
some information about why the whistling scared him so much.
after a while, he remembered. He remembered his torturous
childhood. THe only reason he was of such perfect blood, half
trakehner, half hanoverian, was because he was born at a
prestigous barn. However, he did remember how he became
wild. The fire. Burning across the showgrounds. His poor
mother. Eclipse could have warned someone...but he was too
scared. He heard Tom's whistling as he came into the
barn...however, he did nothing.

Lorrinda sighed as she then whistled for the Paint horse. She whinnyed as she trotted toward her nickering softly.Lorrinda mounted and then halted the horse. The mare sidestepped excited because of the stallion. She then pulled on the mares mouth to keep her from going to him.The mare whinnyed and then reared.Lorrinda then turned her around and then put her into a gallop toward the stable.
