The little rogue pony made her way up the small hill at a rough trot. She was favouring one foot...or was she? This little horse was not only unique in her looks, but also in her strides. She moved lopsided, making it appear as though she was lame...al the time. As for the trot? Charmed never moved at anything else, unless directly forced. She snorted and finally came to a stop, right in front of a huge rock. Her bright, unusually happy eyes shone deeply as she stared at her reflection.
What stared back was gruesome. To say Charm was an ugly horse was an understatement. The 12 year old mare had hips that jaunted out at different angles, a dull bay coat that was always shaggy, even in the dead of summer, a face that was too big for her body, and feet that turned in. However, Charm never complained about her looks. She thought it was unbelievable to be a horse. Charm never took things for granted. She believed that all of the unique things that horses could accomplish was amazing. For instance, the smell of a storm approaching, or the ability to hear hoofbeats from miles away.
Charm looked around, skillyfully observing. Looked like no one had been here in a while. Just as she was about to give up hope, a tiny colt trotted into the horizon, and stood proudly. He looked around, eyes shiny and bright. Charm's heart melted. Her biggest goal in life was to produce a foal. She wanted one so badly, she dreamt about it day and night. However, at the same time, she didn't want to fall for a stallion.
Charmed believed that falling for another equine was useless. All you ended up with was a swollen belly and a broken heart. The bay mare turned around a few times before picking up her foreleg and stamping her hoofprint into the ground. When she lifted it up, a lopsided half moon stared back up at her. She whinnied loudly. Calling attention to herself? Maybe so...or maybe she was merely looking for a playmate. A friend.
Just as Charm was about to raise her head to call to the heavens once more, she spotted a large pond just to the left of her. She took off at her lazy, crooked jog and with no hesitation, leapt into the pond. She was so innocent, and so naive it was a wonder she hadn't been taken advantage of yet. Or had she?
Charm had always been a wanderer. Her parents were wanderers, and she took after them. She lived with them for a good few months, then like all travelers, they wanted less baggage, so they kicked her out, along with other mares from the herd. she lived with the other mares for a while, but they decided she was too young and innocent to fight or be bred with, so she was kicked out of their band as well. Finally, she decided no one wanted her in their herd, so she simply lived on her own.
There were upsides to living by herself, however. She never had to answer to another being. It was her vs. the world. But then again, there was the lonlieness. Oh how it hurt to go to sleep and wake up with no one to talk about your dreams with. No one to simply look at and call family. Not even anyone to talk to about anything. Charm hadn't interacted with another equine in almost two years. She wasn't mean at all, in fact if she saw someone she practically bounded up.
The mustang mare frolicked in the water, despite her age, and rolled multiple times. By the time she got out, she was dripping and shiny. She shook her coat, and it puffed up. She knew that she was unnattractive, but she lived iwth it. You only have one life to live, why live it regretting something? She would never change her looks, but she could make it up with her personality. She pricked her ears forward, looking around.
Why am I the only horse here? Doesn't anyone want to play? Maybe I should go find someone...no...don't want to seem overeager. But I REALLY want to find somenone to play with...I guess I'll just have to wait and see... Thought Charm. she had just arrived at this new place, Running Wild. Neither of the two words described her. Running? Hardly ever. Wild? Barely. She didn't mind the two leggeds. She believed that they were just here to help her, and all of the other horses.
Finally, Charm became tired of waiting, as she always did, and dropped her head to nibble on the dewey pieces of sweet grass. She loved how every so often she would find a special treat inside the grass, like a dandylion, or sometimes even onion grass. She LOVED onion grass and literally spent hours searching for it. A-HA! She found it! The horse's whole face was submerged in the grass as she plunged her nose deeper and deeper into the sweet, luscious onion grass. She knew her breath would stink afterwards, but who cares! It tastes delicious!
After downing almost all of the grass, Charm decided to take a little snooze in the sun. She collapsed to the ground and stretched on her her side. within a few minutes, she was dozing lightly. What a pretty sight...except for the fact that it was Charm. Very few are impressed by this little mare...will you be one of the few?

Diabolical, Oh yes, there will be blood.
<----------------------------------------------------------------->
Dabolical eyes were focused on the sky. He did not know what to expect of it, only that it was the source of endless sunshine and this made him cringe. Such weather produced sour moods for him and his brother, who nearly never left his side but managed to venture off again. He did not care, he was not Poltergeist's babysitter anymore. They both had grown and matured, their days of foal-hood were long gone and out the window. His chestnut pinto coat was splashed with spots, all the color of ivory and the clouds above. Diabolical was the average height, fifteen hands tall he stood. His bloodline was mixed, it was as murky as a lake that had been drenched with blood. He was drawn to the dark, bloodshed and torture created a place of enjoyment in his once tamed heart. Diabolical was an unruly creature, his mother never taught him his manners. A smirk was always worn on his face, a snarky comment always leaving his mouth.
His attention was quickly switched over to this creature that stood many yards away from him. How long had she been there? Somewhere in his thinking, she must have trotted past him and went on to graze on the grass. He stuck up his nose in disgust, he could just taste the happiness leaking from her face. Diabolical raised an eyebrow and took a few steps back, the wind tossing up his painted mane. His eyes were painted with ice, the color and sharpness of an iceberg. His personality, was much like that of a sociopath. Diabolical did nothing to stop his murderous personality, his lust for the sight of flowing blood was like a chain around his neck. He only wished to see the death of those who got in his way, or those who simply rubbed him the wrong way. His half brother often participated in his sick games, or at least that's what he called them. He would lie, and tell his victims they had a chance to win. Diabolical never lost one of his games, not once. This mare who stood before him, confused him.

Could it be? It was! A new FRIEND! Charm's eyes lit up even brighter, as if adding coal to a fire. Her huge ears, much too big for her head tipped forward. The extra weight caused her head to dip forward and her nostrils flared, accepting this new stallion's scent. Unfortunately for little Charm, she didn't quite realize that this new horse wasn't as free spirited and funloving as little rogue pony Charm was.
The bay mare lopsidedly trotted up to this new horse and promptly stood in front of him. Much shorter, and of course, much uglier, she didn't let this simple fact faze her. The naive animal whickered softly and reached her nose forward towards the new horses', attempting at friendship. Her soft eyes lay steadily on the new horses'. Her gaze never faltered, but even though it was neverending, it wasn't challenging, or even aggresive at all. The spotted horse was gorgeous, of course. However, although Charm knew she wasn't one of beauty on the outside, she never let it affect her personality.
Her thick, stocky black legs were strangely spread apart as she stood facing the stallion. Her right foreleg was at least a foot in front of her left one, and her hind legs were opposite the front. It was a wonder she could balance. Even so, she had the tip of her left hind resting on the ground. Talent. Charm's tiny black nose peeked up from beneath a huge forelock which covered one eye and draped down to halway down her face. She shook it away every few minutes, but it did no good.
Charm turned her attention back to the champion before her. She wondered what caused him to lurk so near to her? He seemed so withdrawn from the surroundings around her, while everything in Charm's world was upfront and she was ready to face anything iwth a playful smile and hope the best came out of it. Guess everyone was different....

[ooc: here comes weirdo..]
Oh dear god, what a spleeeendid daaay... Allowing his drooping eyelids to slide over both his chocolate and aqua colored eye, he released a heavy sigh that just about pronounced the ending of his journey. Being a complete vagabond to the lands, he found nothing of interest yet beside the stallion he bustled into the day before who held strange ears and odd ways. Perhaps he was just being judge mental, but who was he to judge in the first place? The thoughts made the corners of his lips prickle upward into a lopsided grin, only half hearted because of his oh-so-lazy trip over here. Truth be told, he had absolutely no idea where he was going, and no idea why. If he hadn't reached the area he did now, he would probably be snoozing back under that tree. Usually he wasn't so lazy, he just found nothing of his time or daily routine, but his curiosity was bottling him to urge further over the lands. He simply lied to himself in the first place, just taking it as a lazy day, but in all honesty he bickered lowly for something to be just a bit brighter about this day than the rest. His dear friend, Mr. Sarcasm, restlessly bottled at the hind of his thoughts. He knocked and knocked, running his piano fingers over his doorbell, almost to the point of irritation when he spotted the duo. Too bad they weren't a couple, it'd be screaming through his house and Mr. Sarcasm would have already broken his brand new, polished door right on over. Instantly, his gaze flickered over the two, opening his eyes a bit wider than before to alert his attention easier. A rather dashing stallion, and an ugly mare? What the hell was this? Some sort of Romeo and Juliet, a denied pair from both sides of the family? He felt no problem waltzing right into something that wasn't his own business, a single, white tipped ear pricking forward in expectation for a voice of some sort. Nothing?! At all? Were they both mime lovers? "Uh, hi." He said plainly, pausing a few feet from the two, evenly placed to stare perfectly at the both of them. "Am I interrupting something." And the funny thing was, he didn't really ask it as a question.

[OOC: Well, i just have a lot of muse, and am bored, so i'll post, then i"ll let mythie post] What is this? A new equine? This seemed to be quite the popular spot...Charm turned her massive head to look at the new horse. His lyrics flowed out of his kissers like a sweet lulliby playing from a baby's music box. Charm's ears pricked forward, so the tips were nearly touching. She strained to make sense of what he was saying, as he spoke. Was he interupting anything? She visibly relaxed and shook her head as a fly landed on her eye. No, not at all. We hadn't even introduced ourselves. My name is Charmed, but you can just call me Charm. She spoke.
Charm's voice was nothing like her looks. If you thought the new horses' lyrics were pretty, Charm's voice was gorgeous. It was soft and sweet, but at the same time, t had meaning behind each and every word. She didn't overspeak, and there was never an awkawrd silence when Charm was around. She truly listened, and she also had great stories. The little bay mare dropped her velvety nose back to the ground to munch on a few strands of grass before she was soon bored by that act of childish hunger.
Charm looked towards the new horses, her eyes bright and happy. She looked over this new stallion, wondering why these two rather beautiful animals came to converse with her, the plain, rather ugly looking bay mare. Strange, definitely. She then realized she was right in between the two animals...not a good plan. Stallions were always fighting over something or another. Although Charm was innocent and naive, she wasn't stupid. She took a few hesitant steps back, so that she was no longer in between the two stallions.

Interesting name, Charm thought to herself. She decided not to voice her opinions, due to the strange vibe circling the new animal. His frame was tensed, his demeaner not quite friendly. Charm tilted her head to one side, an awkward silence at best. reverting to bad habbits, she drew circles in the sand with her right front hoof, eyes down. She decided it best to be silent for a few, and check back to see where the action was at. As she dropped her big head to nip at the grass, her eyes remained focused on the champion in front of her.
His tri-colored mane attracted her attention at once. She looked at the gradient change, and the different colors blending together to form almost five different colors at once. For once in her life, she was questioning her own looks, how this new stallion percieved her. Self-conciously, she took a step back, shielding herself from his views. She ducked her head, and hid behind her heavy fringe.
Her big, lopsided ears tipped forward unintentionally, the extreme weight hard to hold upright. She decided to break the ice by saying, So what brings you here, oh noble champion? Her eyes shone as deep as a full moon contrasting with a cloudy night. Her only good feature was her eyes, as they attracted the most attention. deep coco brown, with a tinge of amber, they lit up her face with every word she spoke.

WHEN YOU'RE AT THE END OF THE ROAD & YOU LOST ALL SENSE OF CONTROL ,& your thoughts have taken their toll , --------------------------------------------------------------------- Diabolical wild eyes had focused upon the creature that stood in front of him. A small bead of sweat had lightly soaked his neck, his conquest of the open lands had taken him great distances and required great speed out of him. He had not seen his brother in what seemed like a lifetime. Perhaps his sadistic sibling has dead, at the moment the twisted minded animal did not care whether his brother was still walking the earth with a pulse. In fact, he could remember wanting to kill him whenever he got too annoying. Diabolical patience was too thin, like a small coating of ice on a lake ready to be broken by the slightest touch.
This was all a game to Diabolical, his game. It was her move, and he stood in silence as he listened to her speak over the winds. "Curiosity, I am the kind that does not do well with being confined. One could ask you the same question, what are you doing wondering alone?" He said, perhaps a bit too curious with a slight hiss of interest in his voice. He was not one for feelings or caring much about others but the way she carried herself was bizarre and captivating. His taste for the sight and feel of blood was temporarily tamed as she spoke, he felt like she was a bit of an oddball.
His body was clearly used to movement, as he soared across the empty land and mountains she was swift in his own sense of grace. Yes, he had seen the horrors of the modern world where the tamed are confined to fenced pastures. Diabolical scoffs at those fools, often times receiving rude sneers in return as he rubs his freedom into their faces. His glossy eyes were tainted with harsh pain, a reminder of his bloodied past as he trotted into the Shiny Rock territory he had heard so much about. This land was popular among the foals, which he had no care for. But, he would not have guess he would have come across a mare like Charm.
