It seemed that mummy work took hold of the family. Rick then decided to go upstairs to see what his only son was up to, he walked up the stairs then slowly opened the door to his room, he was fast asleep. He got kicked out of another college, as usual, it seemed that everyone was still asleep except Rick himself, not knowing that today was going to change, very quicly.

Alex O'Connell had never been a fan of school, or for following rules for that matter which might explain why instead of catching up on his studies, he was catching up on his sleep. The witty blond had been causing too much trouble for one college to handle, which of course ended up in him getting kicked out again. He was starting to wonder why his parents kept enrolling him time after time. Old habits die hard, especially with this family. Alex rolled over sleepily, noticing that the house was a little too quiet. Sighing sleepily, he got up and decided to see if anybody else were up.

All of a sudden the phone started to ring, Rick quickly went downstairs and answered the phone, "Hello?" He said, after a few minutes he hung up the phone, "Everybody get up! We're going on a mummy adventure. We leave in three hours start packing." Rick said, "Jonathan, wake up." Rick yelled as Jonathan fell out of his bed.

Alex was about to make his way downstairs to get the phone as he heard it ring, but it seemed like somebody else had gotten to it before he could. He could hear the faint sound of muffled voices, one of which he identified as his dad's. "You can't be serious." Alex was definitely a fan of adventure and getting himself into all kinds of trouble, but mummies were just too much work sometimes. Especially the last mummy, who didn't exactly play fair as his uncle Jonathan had put it.

Rick stop walking the turned to his son with a raised eyebrow and a smirk on his face "Would I lie to you? Get packing" He said to his son, Rick sometimes wished that Alex didn't inherit his wanting for adventure gene, why couldn't he have a son who actually wanted to go to school. After a few hours Rick called for a Taxi to take them to the person who called them to find out the detail. Jonathan moaned as he brought out his suitcases "Do I really have to come?"He complained, "Of course Jonathan, how could we do it without you?" Rick said to him.

Alex smirked at his dad, who told him to get packing. Alex lived for this kind of adventure. School wasn't for him, even though he knew his mother and father desperately wanted him to go to college and stay there. But every time he ended up going to college, he would annoy his professors enough to the point of his expulsion. Alex found it hilarious, but his mother gave him an earful each time a college sent him home. "Oh come on Uncle Jonn, who doesn't love a good old fashioned adventure?" Alex told his uncle with a clever grin.

Rick smiled at his son, even though he was a little disappointed in Alex for dropping out of college, but he loved how his son had his sense of adventure. He looked at Alex and Jonathan as they started to give eachother resons not to go on another mummy adventure, "Alright knock it off, we got a flight to catch. And Jonathan you're coming with us, we all remember what happened last time we went to a tomb, you brought a visitor then more visitors decided to stop by and all he.ll broke loose." Rick said to him lifting his eyebrows.

Alex smirked at his dad's response, their last adventure had proven to be one of their more interesting to say the least. Already packed, all they had to do was wait on Jonathan to convince himself that it was a good idea to go on an adventure. Besides, when the O'Connell family went on an adventure, chaos and insanity was sure to ensue. Alex was wondering what the reason was behind this one, but he figured he would find out soon enough. Alex knew they must be going a good distance away, since his father mentioned a plane ride. He was most definitely interested now.
