"The sun, had given up on staying high in the horizon, so it grunted and laid back down to let the moon do her work. She gleamed now, for several minutes she was slightly dulled from her slumber but her light from the sun, reflected from her and gave an eery glow to the black mare strutting below the moon"There she stand, her hooves into the ground as the woods she had traveled to, where full of dark but she knew the night tended to bring this to the land. Her orbs reflected the midnight's glare, one by one she saw the birds ahead pass her. Wondering why they were making a desperate attempt to get out, sometimes Mariah longed for wings, but deep down she knew she did.. her speed was undeniable, her sire was one of those horses that run like bullets, never stopping for anyone, not even the bit can alter their path. Mariah, used to be a racehorse, on the track winning like most knew she would, now she uses her speed at her advantage, yet she never was full of herself.. she would never let her past jerk at her future. She stopped, her head up high as she called to Trigger, were he may be, no one would know. Her pistons kicked forward as she lunged forwards with a rear.. Her nares flared savagely.. where was he? From Far AwayFrom Up Close

The black stood, her eyes were filled with fear, of why Trigger had taken this long, she knew she had galloped far and maybe should have slowed down, but she could not undo the past, for it would affect the way the future would be. She lowered her crania, not seeing any reason to lift it.

She sighed as the sun began to weaken, and let the full moon take the place. She stared up at the moon, it's glow calming her and the rest of the orbs that may gaze on it. Mariah gave a nicker of sadness, with a sound of boredom, her mane being the only thing keeping her crane warm and guarded from the cool night. She lay down, her crania up and alert but she had the dragging tiredness from the miles she had traveled that day, also at her heels.
Somewhere in her mind the evil voice told her he would not come, never, ever

Trigger dragged his old bod across the relishing woods. He snorted and entered behind his mate, Mariah. He rested his tired, white flecked muzzle across her neck and sighed What have we here?

Her pools jumped over to him, she knew she probaly shouldn't have run ahead, but all that didn't matter now. What about these woods? I haven't seen another horse here in days

She blinked and walked over to a small little stream, it seemed to be one of many that flowed about. Surely one of these little streams lead to a bigger, more powerful river. She didn't put any more thought into it and looked around.
