Dancer's steely optics watched them shoot lovesick glances back and forth. As long as Jinx was keeping to his word, she was fine with it all. She nduged her foal, Red, and her yearling, Onyx and trotted to get some water from a nearby stream.

Steely optics watched Starcatcher. She may have been an Arabian mare, but she wans't stupid. Starcatcher wanted Jinx, and she wouldn't stop until she got what she wanted. Anger boiled deep inside her. She didn't want her on her land. Hissing at Starcatcher from her perch on the peak.
She didn't care if Jinx exiled her from the band. She wanted that mare out of here. A deep hatred grew up in her heart. She turned her white neck away, to her colts. She saw them playing happily near the gold mare. Loath overcame her and she barreled down the mountain side to her colts. She glared at the mare near her colts and she nudged them to "Safety"
She loved Jinx and knew it wasn't his fault. She wans't jealous, she was just hateful. She didn't like this mare, that was all. Dancer shook her forelock. She seemed to growl at the mare. Who are you.
The usual question was now posed more as a statement. Answer.
Dancer's usually silky soft voice was harsh. Why was Dancer being like this? She was usually so easy going and lovable...but this mare seemed like the opposite! Dancing Queen shook her head. Dancer had the power of kicking out a mare...all queens did. But would she use her power for good or evil?
