Christened » Solar Ecplise. Thats pronounced So-ler eclip-sis
Friends Call Me » Sol, Solar, Ecplise, 'Cplise. Basically anything remotly having to do with his name.
Thy was Borne » Stag
Thy has Seen » Almost five springs in a few
Thy soul is » He does not have a true side. He can blend in with either of them.
Shade » Pitch black. Shades of brown fit into his coat here and there, but mostly black.
Blood » Hanoverian/Trakehner
Stance » Despite his young age, he is quite wise. He is full of riddles and quotes from random horses. He would rather spend a day gathering information than settling a dispute or racing, or anything most of the horses these days do. He has no true alliance because of what he believes. He is not afraid to show the real HIM. He won't change himself for other horses. He shows his true personality and isn't shy about it.
Faded Memories » Sol's parents were, as you would imagine, top notch show horses. They were in a breeding program and were bred to make a good show horse. Unfortunatly, Solar Eclipse, or Dancing Sun at the time, wasn't exactly what they were looking for. Twisted ankles at birth, they believed there was no way for him to show. They were wrong. By the time he was one month old, his legs were as strong as any Thoroughbred on the track. They began to get him accustomed to people and crowds. Unfortunatly, a few days before his first Halter Show, a disaster occurded. A big wave swept in from a nearby ocean flooding the barn. LOts of horses drowned. Solar Eclipse used his wit and smarts to escape. He never went back.

"Its not what you see but what you feel"
The shadow was decieving. Large, arched neck, long, flowing tail. When the colt emerged from the foliage, he was just a small horse. Thorns were pushed so far forward, it strained his muscles. He took a deep breath before prevailing on. How bad could it be? He was just asking for a home.

Solar didn't especially like the "Confused" souls. They were usually shy. Maybe this king would be different. His gaits were loose and relaxed. Should he be worried? If so, why? Solar Eclipse enjoyed questioning logic. If he could, he would be a wanderer. But he had to move on with his life in some way.
"Its not where you are but who you're with"
Should Solar be looking for a mate soon? He was almsot at the age where he could technically give a mare a foal. None of the mares were quite...good enough for him. Either too stupid, or trying too. He had encountered a chestnut goddess. She had a flying crimson banner and her chocolate orbs could see right through you. He wanted her. But would he see her again?
"Prevail on and don't look back"
Solar Eclipse came back to reality with a mosquito bite. Squriming slightly, he watched the now fat bug fly away. An annoyed look played over his face. His long whiskers helped him feel his way through the dark. He finally came to the grotto. Should he go on? Of course. His small hooves made imprints that would not be altered.
"Show yourself, not what others want you to be"
Bright opticals sought out the king. Where was he? Most likely talking with another equine. Raising his crescents to the air, he breathed in. Just as he had guessed. Another stallion was on the land. Would it be more polite to wait, or to interupt. Even Solar knew the answer to that.
"Loveless, homeless, but certainly not brainless. Solar Eclipse"
