Laurie Strode! Well, kiddo, I thought you outgrew superstition. Laurie closed her eyes, and opened them. She hoped the house was only in her head, but it glared back at her. Come on, the door is open. She said and made her way towards the old, worn out building that had seen more death, misery and pain than anyone could imagine. Making her way towards the door, she noticed a broken window, someone had thrown a heavy object in order to get back in. Annie? Annie? I really don't think it's smart to be in here. Your father told me Micheal managed to break out of that sanitarium they had him in. I don't think you want to be in here. She said, the old air offering a cold chill to her spine.
Laurie peered into the kitchen, a door of old and large knives had been emptied. All over the floor, with common items that had been just, left there. She gazed at an old high chair, and the name she saw was soon to answer all the questions circling about in her head. Laurie....Laurie... Lynda, look at this.

Laurie Strode! Well, kiddo, I thought you outgrew superstition. Laurie looked over at Lynda. I'm starting to think it's more than that. Walking into the kitchen she was afraid to make a noise, afraid to alert anyone here that she was moving around. She bent down and picked up a newspaper, the headline read in bold letters "YOUNGER SISTER OF MURDER VICTIM, JUDITH MYERS PLACED INTO THE CARE OF MR. AND MRS. STRODE." As she read over the heaedline, her fingers began to shake with each passing moment. Underneath the bold headline, was a picture of a young girl and two people that looked almost identical to her parents. They were her parents, and that young baby in their arms was her. Laurie jumped up, as the sound of footsteps above her head caused her to shift uneasily. She swore she could hear something upstairs, but no voices could be heard. Oh god, Lynda. My name is highlighed, who ever had a hold of this magazine circled the picture of me. My parents have that same picture in their room. I'm not Laurie Strode anymore.

Laurie Strode! Well, kiddo, I thought you outgrew superstition. She folded the newspaper, but the sweat on her fingers weren't making it any easier. Laurie turned around to see a closing door, and two loud voices ahead of them. That sounds a lot like Annie's dad, and that doctor Loomis I heard about. She replied in a hushed whisper and slipped the article into her pocket. She told herself she planned on having a good talk with her parents, and at least she has the proof.
Upstairs, a Doctor. Sam Loomis lead Sheriff Brackett upstairs, down the hallway and into Judith's old room, which was empty and full of dush and a few old spider webs. Right here, that's where she must of have. See the blood stains? Sheriff Brackett nodded and snapped a few pictures, before returning to the hallway. He couldn't image why anyone else would be here, but a few soft voices made their way to his ears. Doctor, I don't think we're alone.
Laurie kept fighting with herself, telling her mind not to go into overload again, that it would eventually make more sense to her. The vision of the slow driving car, and Jacob's "boogeyman" stories were starting to make sense. Some kids at school had harrased Jacob about it, when he came home he was shaking like a deer in the headlights of a large truck. There's no way, I don't.... It can't be......

Laurie Strode! Well, kiddo, I thought you outgrew superstition. She was way too young to rememer a thing, she was a few years old at the time. She had grown up thinking the Strodes had been her birth parents, too bad it all was a cover-up story. Laurie heard the two men exit the home, talking about that Halloween night and the murder. Loomis was under more pressure, after all, Micheal was his patient and his problem to deal with. Laurie knew Annie must be hiding upstairs, if she wasn't anywhere else this was the only place she may be. Annie Brackett was a prankster, and what better way to send shivers up Laurie and Lynda's spine?
Come on, let's go upstairs. Confused by her sudden bravery, she gripped the railing and pulled herself up, step by step until she managed to halfway there. The heavy footsteps that came to her ear simply couldn't be Lynda, she wasn't wearing boots.

Laurie Strode! Well, kiddo, I thought you outgrew superstition. With Lynda behind her, Laurie slowly creeped up the stairs. It made her shake in her skin, it took a lot for her to calm herself down before she made it all the way. The stairs slowly twisted about until you met the long, spooky hallway. Alright, be sure to go slow. If anyone is up here, I don't want to them to hear us. Laurie peered into a small room, empty of course but lead to a small balcony that had been run down, clearly out of use. She walked into the room, when a hushing voice rang in her ears. That sounds a lot like Annie! she rushed to the next room on the right, and the sight of her friend sprawled out on the bed would be enough to send someone over the break of insanity. She's dead! Oh god Annie! Oh god!
Her neck was red with crimson blood, a clear cut around her throat with something sharp, something very sharp. It didn't take long for Laurie to realise the fact that one of the knives were missing from the holder. Oh god, oh I'm making this whole think up! Laurie could feel her legs shake, and she could read the fearful expression on Lynda's face as well. She felt a pair of dark, blank, emotionless eyes stare right at the two of them.

Laurie Strode! Well, kiddo, I thought you outgrew superstition. She heard the hushed voices again, they were faint but it was clear they were creeping closer to the door. The doctor was protesting, he said it'd be best to leave but Laurie knew that Sheriff Brackett wouldn't settle for that answer. Laurie shook a bit as she inched closer to the staircase, trying to get a better view of the door. She felt Lynda following close behind, and after she saw Annie with blood laying upon her face she knew she didn't want the same thing happening to her other only friend. "Lynda, he can't come up here. He'll see Annie, and someone is going to die." Silent footsteps made their way closer to the two girls, their eyes too focused on the closed door as the doorknob twisted. It would open soon, but Laurie knew they could not stay in full view any longer. A streak of silver brushed them, cutting into the sleeve of Laurie's shirt. A line blood poured from her wounds, and she felt Lynda trip and that sent the two of them tumbling down the stairs. Thump, thump, thump and the two girls lay on the floor. Laurie grasped her wrist, bruised but she couldn't manage to move it. Her left ankle had slammed against the floor with brutal force, and she looked over to Lynda. Her eyes pleaded, it was all a dream.

Laurie Strode! Well, kiddo, I thought you outgrew superstition. Running her finger down her shoulder, she felt the cold reminder of blood. To her horror she found a large cut, the result of a knife grazing across her skin. Laurie could hear heavy pounding against the worn wooden door. "Loomis! It's locked! Did you lock it? I think I hear people in there. Yes, I hear movement." Sheriff Brackett motioned for Dr. Loomis to return to the front porch, as he fumbled about to find the nearly broken key. Laurie froze, heavy footsteps slammed against the stairs. A flash of silver, a strange black figure, and the white mask registered a new sense of fear Laurie never knew she could feel. Reaching for Lynda's hand, she slammed her fist against the door. "Someone, please! I know you're out there! Open the door, open the door!" Dr. Loomis pressed his ear against the door, and his worst fears became clear. "Is that you, Laurie Strode? Lynda, are you there too?" Sheriff Brackett asked as he inserted the key into the lock. Dr. Sam Loomis had never feared for another person's life as he did tonight, "He won't stop, until they are both dead. Brackett, you let him out! " He let a few choice words flow from his mouth, but the door just wouldn't give.
Laurie looked back at Lynda, "Yes, that's us! Oh god, he's coming closer." The dark figure had vanished from their sight, "Go upstairs! Hide somewhere, until we can bust open this door." Loomis shrugged, it was better than telling them the brutal truth.

Laurie Strode! "Why me? I mean, why me?" Stumbling up the stairs Laurie knew very well she had to hurry, as Lynda slid underneath a bed she franticly leaped into the old closet, empty and dark it chilled her down to the bone. All there was to do, was to hope that the evil within the house did not find his victims. The blood had dried on her blue blouse, and the sharp pain was soon becoming too much for her to remain quiet. She slammed her palm up against her mouth, trying to contain the scream that so desperately wanted to escape. The house had a deathly hushed feeling to it, slightly opening the closet door Laurie spoke in such a careful voice to make sure Lynda was the only soul to hear her. "Lynda? Are you there?"
- I would have posted more but it's late and I gotta go to bed -
